We like to go camping as a family during the summer. There are four of us, two are small children. There is plenty of room on the inside with my wife an I each with an inflatable mattress and the two kids lie on the floor in their sleeping bags. We made in through several rainstorms and heavy winds at the Philadelphia Folk Fest. Many other tents and canopies in the area were flooded and blown away, but inside our tent we were completely dry. What is great about this tent is that the rainfly provides a roomy garage area where you can stuff much of your equipment, chairs and other items to keep them dry. There is tons of room inside this tent our inflatable queen mattress. The Big Agnes King Creek 6 is a basic bomb proof well made tent. The kind of tent that you use and enjoy for 20 years. You get what you pay for, and the King Creek 6 fits the bill. I would recommend getting a footprint, and packing separate from the tent. It really helps keeping things clean, and extending the life of the tent. |
